Privacy Policy

Effective 23 July 2026

Kid's Bounty is made by Fernloch Studio ("we", "us"), a sole trader business (ABN 98 541 556 955) based in Perth, Western Australia. This policy explains what information Kid's Bounty collects, why, and how families can control it.

Who this app is for

Kid's Bounty is a household chores-and-rewards app used by families together. A parent or guardian ("Monarch") creates a household ("Realm") and invites their children ("Heroes") to join it. Every Hero account is created and controlled by a Monarch — children do not sign up for Kid's Bounty on their own.

Information we collect

We do not run advertising or analytics tracking inside Kid's Bounty, and we do not collect information beyond what's needed to run the Realm/quest features above.

How we use this information

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the app, all acting on our instructions:

We do not sell any personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Children's privacy

Kid's Bounty is designed to be used by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. A child's Hero account can only be created by the Monarch of their Realm — there is no public sign-up flow for children, and children are never asked to create their own Google account to use the app. Monarchs can see all quest, reward and photo activity within their own Realm, and can remove a Hero or delete a Realm at any time (see below).

Data retention and deletion

We keep account and Realm data for as long as the Realm is active. A Monarch can remove a Hero, or request deletion of an entire Realm and all its associated data (including proof-of-completion photos), by contacting us at the email below. We'll action deletion requests within a reasonable time.

Security

Data is stored with access controls that restrict each Realm's data to members of that Realm only, and proof-of-completion photos are kept in a private (non-public) storage bucket.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above.
